Never Stop Blooming Up

Never Stop Blooming Up is a (preemptive) hack of Dimension20’s incredible Never Stop Blowing Up game system. But with the intention of playing out the high stakes and drama of an artistic or sport anime series.

In it we play a team of any sport, craft or art. And start immediately with our first team match during an important tournament. We can choose a sport, craft or art that already works with a team tournament (soccer, idol show, improv, baking, rap battle) or come up with silly ways to do it (band wars, chest-rotation blitz teams, perfect haiku and dance event, gardening with sword fights, science trivia in rugby matches, competitive yoga, etc). We can also create a sport from scratch, as long as we have fun doing it. The specifics don’t matter because we’re about to go over the top and beyond.

This game is designed for an average of 5 sessions of 2 to 3 hours. For at least 3 people without a GM or at least 4 with a GM. When we don’t have a GM, someone whose character is not immediately in the action takes on the role.
